After concerts with Katie Melua, Mick Hucknall (Simply Red), Andrew Bird and Giant Sand&#8230;, the artist is gradually releasing the new songs from her new album GOLD in 2025.<\/p><p><strong>With her new album GOLD, Susan Wolf deals with personal, inner growth. With in-depth melodies and profound lyrics, the artist tells of her path of healing and the journey towards self-love and thus back to herself.<\/strong><\/p><p>Like spring, Susan Wolf returns to the music scene with her new album GOLD. More powerful and alive than ever before, the artist believes in the magic of life and love. Susan Wolf has been through a healing process that many would not have thought possible: At the age of 23, the musician was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Ten years later, the disease was already so advanced that the passionate singer and guitarist could barely participate in life.<\/p><p>\u201cI couldn&#8217;t walk another ten meters,\u201d she says. But the single mother of a boy is not giving up and decided to look for ways to combat this illness. In addition to natural measures that enable the body to heal itself, Susan also devoted herself to the possibilities of healing her own soul. She processed this path to recovery in the songs on her current album GOLD. Today, Susan Wolf is healthy. For the artist, the meaning of life is growth and an important stage on this path of growth is self-love, according to Wolf. With her new songs, Susan gives her listeners a kind of guide to follow this path and to recognize this love for themselves to then carry this love outwards with an open heart. Love should win, says Wolf, with the deepest conviction. It is the only truth that we should believe:<\/p><p><strong>\u201cLove is the one only truth\/we ought to believe.\u201d<\/strong> <small>(Love by Susan Wolf on Gold 2025)<\/small><\/p><p>Like its predecessor I HAVE VISIONS, the new album was produced in Aarhus, Denmark in collaboration with Wolf&#8217;s producers and multi-instrumentalists Peter Dombernowsky and Nikolaj Heyman. (known for Giant Sand, Isobell Campbell, Mark Lenegan, M. Ward. ect.) Musically, GOLD is a continuation of the first album, which is also in the Americana folk genre and has 60&#8217;s soul elements. Old American folk guitars provide the basic framework for the songs. Pedal steel, dobro and twangy tremolo guitars are of course just as important as spherical Mellotron and Wurlitzer sounds.
